The media reported that the US has allocated $3.5 billion to Israel for the purchase of military equipment. These funds are provided for by a law adopted in April, and it is planned to allocate only $14 billion. According to the CNN television channel, the funding is delayed, and the first step will be to conclude contracts for the supply of weapons, which will take several years.

The leaders of the US, Egypt and Qatar called for a swift conclusion of the swap deal and are ready to present a final draft of the agreement.
