The Ukrainian defense forces' invasion of the Kursk region showed that the Kremlin's threats were just a hoax. According to The Washington Post, Putin's reaction was incomparably more passive than his threats at the beginning of the war.
He promised to ensure Russia's territorial integrity “by all available means,” but now the dictator prefers to forget about it. The Ukrainian offensive has also exposed Russia's military shortcomings and destroyed the illusion of Moscow's red lines.

The West must change its tactics and start providing real assistance to Ukraine, which has clearly proven its ability to win.
