Iran's leader safe – Reuters

Iran has taken additional security measures regarding Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran's Supreme Leader has been placed in a secure location with enhanced security measures. This happened after Israel announced the liquidation of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Two Iranian officials spoke about these security measures regarding Khamenei.

The Israeli army has officially announced the destruction of the leader and founder of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah. According to them, he was killed in an airstrike in Beirut on September 27. The military said the strike hit Hezbollah's central headquarters, which was located underground under a residential building in Beirut. In Israel, this became known after the liquidation of Hassan Nasrallah.

Iran remains in contact with Lebanon's Hezbollah and other regional proxy groups to determine next steps following the death of leader Hassan Nasrallah. Both sides assess the situation differently, but contact remains between them to coordinate actions.
