The presidents of Russia and Iran, Putin and Masoud Pezeshkian, will hold bilateral negotiations in Ashgabat. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters about this.

Peskov clarified that at the upcoming meeting it is planned to primarily discuss bilateral Russian-Iranian relations and the situation in the Middle East.

“There will be a serious conversation. This is the first meeting,” Peskov added.

According to a Kremlin spokesman, contacts with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are not yet planned on Putin’s schedule.
