The IDF has released the names of five Golani Brigade soldiers killed in battle with Hezbollah militants during a building inspection in southern Lebanon. The fighting began after terrorists opened fire on Israeli soldiers at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Five soldiers were killed and three were seriously injured.
Among the dead were a major, a captain and three senior sergeants who had experience in combat. Another soldier was seriously wounded and four more reservists were injured on Thursday.
During this time, nine servicemen were seriously injured and were hospitalized. The families of the deceased and injured have been notified of the incident.
