Biden and Scholz found new perspectives after Sinoir's departure.

The US President expressed confidence that the killing of the Hamas leader opens the way to a ceasefire and the release of hostages. Biden called Sinouar's death a moment of justice and called for it to be used to achieve peace in Gaza without Hamas. The German chancellor also hopes to end the war and stresses the importance of preventing escalation in the Middle East.

The US President arrived in Berlin for meetings with the German Chancellor, as well as with the leaders of France and Great Britain. The main topics of the negotiations are the conflict in the Middle East, assistance to Ukraine and strengthening NATO. The EU also expressed its position on the need to end the war in connection with the liquidation of Yahya Sinouar, calling him a terrorist who is preventing the end of violence and the release of hostages.

Borrell stressed that what is now required is to end the violence, release the hostages and end the suffering of the Palestinians. The liquidation of Sinur became an occasion for world leaders to negotiate and find ways to resolve the conflict in the Middle East.
