French philosopher, journalist, writer and director Bernard-Henri Levy reacted harshly to the meeting of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres with Russian dictator Putin during the BRICS summit, which was held recently in Kazan. He called the actions of the international official “spit in the face of Ukraine and Israel” and “a political and moral disgrace.”
“How can Antonio Guterres meet as if nothing was happening with Putin, a fugitive wanted by 120 police forces and suspected of countless crimes?
Disregard for law and justice. Violation of the UN Charter.
A spit in the face of Ukraine and Israel. Political and moral disgrace and shame,” wrote Bernard-Henri Levy.
Bernard-Henri Levy has been an active supporter of Ukraine since the very beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He supported the Revolution of Dignity and gave speeches on the Maidan. He is the author of documentaries about the war in Ukraine “Why Ukraine” and “Glory to Ukraine”.
Today, Bernard-Henri Levy regularly writes reports on events in Ukraine, which are published by foreign publications.
