On October 31, 2024, the Museum hosted an important premiere – a screening of the documentary film “Parallels: Beyond Borders.” The film turned out to be more in-depth after the tragic events of October 7 and contains more than 30 interviews with volunteers from Israel and Ukraine, diplomats, politicians, businessmen and public figures. The screening was followed by a panel discussion with various experts.

On November 6, Viktor Shenderovich will present his texts and perform the play “Victim Goldiner” on the museum stage. His performances are always unique and memorable.

On November 7, the ANU Museum will host Aliyah Day, a holiday dedicated to Israelis. A busy program is expected with a fair, a walk through the museum and a mini-film festival of documentaries. The evening will end with a concert by the band FromScratch.

On November 19, as part of the “Resistance” series, a film about Shostakovich’s wife will be shown, collecting memories of the composer. The film is filled with the composer's music and rare footage from his life.

One of the central events of November will be the exhibition of photographer Zion Ozeri “Jews of Yemen – the last generation.” During the exhibition, documents and photographs will be presented that tell about the life of this community. The photographer studied the customs of Yemenite Jews and captured them in photographs.
