Hezbollah spokesman likely killed after Israeli airstrike

According to Lebanese media reports, the main representative of the Lebanese group Hezbollah died on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

The focus was on Mohammed Afif, Hezbollah's head of media relations, who was killed in an Israeli strike on a building in the Ras al-Nabaa neighborhood of Beirut. According to Lebanese law enforcement sources cited by Reuters, the attack took place in the densely populated Ras al-Nabaa area, killing one person and injuring three others.

The Israeli military carried out the fourth series of attacks on Hezbollah command centers in the Dahiya area of ​​Beirut. The IDF reported more than 50 terrorist targets attacked over the past week. Israel targeted clandestine arms supply routes between Syria and Lebanon.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health on November 13, 2024, this particular attack left one person dead and three injured. It was part of a wider escalation of conflict in the region, which is centered between Israel and Hezbollah.
