The Russian army has increased its presence on the border with Israel – why?

The Russian army has set up two new posts on the border between Israel and Syria in the Golan Heights, reported Israeli radio.

The command of the Russian contingent in Syria stated that since 2015, when Russian troops came to this country at the invitation of President Assad, they have not reduced their presence in the border zone, but only increased it.
