The Israel Defense Forces has released the names of two soldiers killed in battles in southern Lebanon. Among the dead were Reserve Major Ze'ev Hanoch Jabot Erlich and Staff Sergeant Eitan Ben-Ami. Ehrlich, the 70-year-old founder of an agricultural school, was killed in a rocket attack, and Ben-Ami, 22, a Maglan special forces soldier, was killed in a building collapse.
Major Jabot Ehrlich was also the editor of literary series and was considered an authority in his field. As for Staff Sergeant Ben-Ami, he served in an elite special forces unit and gave his life for his country in the fight against terrorist groups.
Information about the death of the soldiers was conveyed to their families, and the IDF expressed condolences to their loved ones.
Since the start of hostilities against Hamas and Hezbollah on October 7, 802 Israeli soldiers have already been injured.
