On February 5, 2025, Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Azman visited the headquarters of the Ukrainian-Israeli medical volunteer mission FRIDA Ukraine.

FRIDA Ukraine: Israeli-Ukrainian aid mission
FRIDA Ukraine is an international volunteer medical mission created to provide emergency aid in the most dangerous areas of Ukraine. Doctors and volunteers of the project work in conditions when traditional medical institutions are paralyzed due to Russian shelling and destruction.
Since the organization began its work, more than 72,000 people have received medical consultations, and 15,700 patients have been saved thanks to timely assistance.

FRIDA Ukraine’s latest missions
One of the latest operations of the medical mission took place in the Sumy region, just 12 kilometers from the front.

- 1,500 patients received emergency medical care
- Volunteers provided vital medications and consultations to those who could not get to the hospital
- Israeli and Ukrainian doctors jointly carried out examinations and surgeries, saving lives
