Russian troops struck Zaporizhzhia. Three people were killed, two were injured.

On the morning of September 22, 2025, the Russian army attacked the civilian infrastructure and industry of Zaporizhzhia using aerial bombs, reported Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration.

As a result of this attack, three people were killed, and two were injured. Damage was inflicted on 15 multi-story and 10 private houses, as well as non-residential premises. One private building was completely destroyed, and fires were recorded at the attack sites.

Meanwhile, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts, Russian drone strikes occurred at night, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the region. Private houses, as well as a farm building and a garage, were damaged, but no people were harmed.

In the Kyiv region, after drone attacks, fires broke out in a multi-story building and several private houses. One person sustained shrapnel injuries.

According to reports from the Sumy authorities, industrial facilities and an educational institution were damaged as a result of the strikes. One person was also injured.

In total, on the night of September 22, the Russian army attacked Ukraine using 141 drones, including strike “Shaheds” and decoy drones, reported the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 132 drones in various directions: north, south, east, and center of the country.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nine strike drones hit seven locations, and debris fell in eight other places.
