A Hamas militant who organized an attack on Israeli soldiers in the 2000s has been killed.

Israel has revealed the names of three Hamas militants who were killed three months ago. One of them is Abdel-Aziz Salha, who was sentenced to life in prison for killing Israeli soldiers and was deported to Gaza as part of a prisoner exchange. The Israeli military also said three senior Hamas officials in the Gaza Strip were killed in an airstrike three months ago: Ravi Mushtaha, Yehyi al-Sinwara and Sameh al-Sarraj, as well as Sami Odeh, Hamas' security commander.

Abdulaziz Salha was killed in an Israeli strike on October 3 in Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip. In this area, on the grounds of the Al-Aqlouk school, there was a tent with Palestinian refugees. Salha was arrested in 2001 for the murder of IDF reservists and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was released in 2011 as part of a prisoner exchange between Israel and Hamas.

In addition, three senior Hamas officials were killed: Ravi Mushtaha, Yehyi al-Sinwara and Sameh al-Sarraj, as well as Sami Odeh, Hamas security commander. The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on the Gaza Strip and destroyed them three months ago.

Salha was exchanged for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who spent five years in captivity in Gaza. The names of Hamas militants were revealed after their liquidation.
