A Palestinian who pretended to be a Haredi and an IDF fighter was caught.

On the morning of September 14, 2024, police in Ramat Gan stopped a Haredi on an electric bicycle who turned out to be an illegal immigrant from the Palestinian Authority. He presented a false document and was detained with a large amount of personal belongings, including a canister of pepper spray.

It was later revealed that the same man had entered the hospital posing as a doctor and stolen a patient's phone and credit card. In the face of the worsening security situation, Border Police and IDF forces are taking additional measures to prevent illegal immigrants from entering and to ensure security.

The motives of the detained Palestinian are still unknown, and an investigation is underway. The police managed to detain him after he attempted to escape, and work is currently ongoing to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
