American air defense shot down a missile that was aimed at Tel Aviv

The US THAAD air defense system successfully shot down a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis at Israel. According to ITV Channel 12, the system was deployed in Israel in connection with military activity in the Gaza Strip.

At the same time, the US command deployed air defense in the Negev due to fears of a possible missile attack from Iran, but the weapons themselves had not been used until that moment.

The Houthis have fired at least three Iranian-made ballistic missiles at Israel over the past week. This prompts the US military to activate air defense systems to provide protection against such threats.
