An ancient bone box possibly associated with Jesus has been found in Israel.

The 2,000-year-old bone box of Jesus' brother is on display in the United States. The name “Jacob, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus” is carved on it. It is believed to have contained the remains of James the Just, the first Christian leader in Jerusalem after the crucifixion of Jesus. The ossuary was found in Israel and exhibited in 1976.

The owner of the artifact was accused of falsifying the inscription and adding the phrase “brother of Jesus.” During the study, chemical tests were carried out to confirm the age of the inscription. The ossuary became the subject of controversy, despite the owner's acquittal. A 2015 study found that the ossuary may have come from a tomb belonging to the family of Jesus.

In 2017, a document was found describing the death of James, the brother of Jesus. This text became part of the Nag Hammedi library containing Gnostic manuscripts. The researchers' discoveries raise many questions among scientists and religious researchers. Stones have also been found in Israel that are likely part of the road Jesus walked on.

These discoveries help to better understand the historical context of biblical events and arouse interest among researchers.
