The Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson's Office released photos and videos showing the entrance to a tunnel found in a house containing a child's bedroom where the Israeli hostages died. The tunnel was found in occupied territory filled with traps for Israeli forces and surrounded by militants.
The military noted that the object was discovered as a result of a joint operation by the 162nd Division and Shin Bet officers. According to the press service, the presence of an entrance to the tunnel in a house with a children's room indicates cynical use of civilian infrastructure by Hamas.
The IDF Spokesman's Unit stressed that the discovery of a tunnel in a house with a children's room is just one of many examples of the Hamas terrorist group using civilian targets for its purposes.
