US President Donald Trump on Friday, September 26, 2025, expressed optimism about negotiations to end the nearly two-year war between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking to reporters at the White House before departing for the Ryder Cup, Trump stated:

“It seems we have reached an agreement on Gaza, and we will notify you.”
