Ayatollah Khamenai believes that the rocket attacks on Israel on October 7 were “legitimate”

The Supreme Ayatollah of Iran spoke at a funeral ceremony in Tehran, where he declared the people’s right to return territories by force if they were “taken away by the occupiers.” He also called the October 7 action “legitimate in the face of Zionist aggression” and the missile attack from Iran as a minimal punishment for Israel.

The Ayatollah stressed that protecting wounded Lebanon is the sacred responsibility of Muslims around the world. He accused the United States of seeking to make Israel a major energy supplier and transit point for Western countries, and noted that every attack on Israel “benefits all humanity.”

In conclusion, the Supreme Ayatollah declared: “Victory will be ours!” His words reflect the mood of a large part of the Muslim world, which supports resistance against “Israeli aggression and seeks to regain lost territories.”
