Farhan Alqadi, who was released from the Hama terrorist group's captivity on August 27, was discharged from Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva and returned to his family. The 52-year-old father of 11 lives in a Bedouin village, where his return was celebrated in style, with a tent erected and refreshments provided. He was accompanied by a convoy of cars, seeing Farhan home.

Before the celebration began, Farhan expressed hope that the fate of the other hostages would be decided as soon as possible.

“I asked Netanyahu to put an end to this. I feel 100%. I want all of Israel and the world to hear that I do not wish for anyone to end up in the place I had to end up in. Do everything so that the hostages return home,” he said.

His son Salah, barely containing his emotions, shared that life without his father was unbearable.

He admitted that the family did not believe that they would ever see Farhan again. His return was a real miracle for them. Salah also expressed a desire to bring back the joy his father lost during the months spent in captivity. Farhan's brother frankly admitted that he no longer expected to see him alive, and emphasized that Farhan had become a real son for the entire village.
