Hezbollah launched an attack on northern Israel, AFP News and UNN reported. The extremist group Hezbollah said it fired a rocket at a village in northern Israel in response to Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Saturday.
The Israeli attack killed three rescue workers and injured two people in a fire truck battling a blaze caused by an earlier Israeli attack, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry.
The conflict between Hezbollah and Israel has continued almost daily since the Gaza war began more than eleven months ago, with both sides continuing to fire at each other in the border area.
