The IDF has released data on recent attacks on Lebanon. In one day, the aircraft carried out more than 1,400 strikes on various targets, including Hezbollah military facilities and residential buildings where terrorists with weapons were hiding. Pilots carried out about 650 sorties, destroying missile launchers and other weapons.
One of the cases of threat detection occurred in southern Lebanon, where terrorists hid a cruise missile inside a residential building. Thanks to the promptness of the Air Force, the attack was prevented by detecting and destroying the target several minutes before the missile was launched. An active operation to eliminate Hezbollah weapons and protect Israel is currently underway.
In support of the massive operation, the Israeli Air Force is flying hundreds of sorties to locate and destroy the terrorist threat. Hezbollah weapons aimed at Israelis must be completely destroyed to ensure the safety of the country and its people.
