Israeli military units crossed the border with Syria and deployed tank positions in the Quneitra province in the south of the country. According to Oksijen, two tanks of the Israeli armed forces entered Syrian territory yesterday and took up positions near the village of Kavdana in the south of Quneitra. Syrian media also claimed that a soldier was killed as a result of shelling of their military base in Quneitra on October 9.
The Israeli army built barricades for tank trenches and deployed two tanks on them. However, Russian soldiers settled next to these positions on the Tel Hara hill. The Hezbollah group launched rocket attacks into Israel, as a result of which some of the shells were intercepted by air defenses, and the rest fell in open areas. It was also recorded the interception of a suspicious air target crossing the Israeli border with Lebanon.
The Israeli army attacked Hezbollah targets in Beirut, the Lebanese capital. Of particular concern was the EU's announcement of Israeli attacks on UN forces in Lebanon. The Israelis continue to maintain their positions near the border with neighboring countries and are taking measures to protect their territory.
