The Prime Minister of Lebanon at a conference in Paris supported the expansion of humanitarian assistance to the country for its reconstruction. He also called for a truce with Israel based on the implementation of UN Resolution 1701 to ensure security and stability in the region.

Lebanon stands ready to help prevent further escalation of hostilities through an early ceasefire.

The Lebanese government supports the US and French proposal to cease hostilities for 21 days. France will allocate $100 million to Lebanon, Germany will provide $96 million, and the EU will provide $60 million in military and $80 million in humanitarian aid.

The total amount of aid for Lebanon has reached $1 billion, and damage from the conflict with Hezbollah is estimated at $20 billion.
