A demonstration took place in Caesarea on the evening of October 12, 2024, where participants demanded a deal to release the hostages. People held signs saying “We will not forgive!” and tried to draw attention to the problem before Yom Kippur, when it is customary to ask for forgiveness for one's sins.
There was also a mass demonstration in Tel Aviv with signs saying “We will not forgive!” and portraits of held hostages. The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction by lighting fires on the road and writing the names of the hostages on the highway.
Police detained five people for violating the order. Usually such protests end with the road being blocked, but this time the demonstrators were able to hold the action before the arrival of transport, which allowed them to take impressive photographs.
It is important to note that the English-language media practically do not cover these demonstrations, while Arabic-language sources write about them in detail.
