Nicaragua ends diplomatic relations with Israel.

Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has ordered an end to diplomatic relations with Israel.

This was announced by Vice President Rosario Murillo, reports Canal 4.

“Our president has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic to comply with the request of the national parliament and begin to sever diplomatic relations with the fascist and genocidal government of Israel,” Murillo said.

Since the beginning of the escalation in the Middle East, Colombia, Bolivia and Belize have severed ties with Israel.
