Qatar, Egypt Discuss Hamas Demands: They Set New Conditions — Axios

Qatar and Egypt met in Doha to find a way out of the Gaza ceasefire talks and to pressure Hamas over its new demands for the release of Palestinian prisoners, according to Axios.

The aim of the meeting was to persuade Hamas to scale back its demands for the release of prisoners from Israeli jails. The Americans and Israelis claimed that Hamas had requested the release of 100 more prisoners, in addition to the 150 already agreed upon.

However, Hamas officials deny that they have made new demands.
