Residents of the Israeli north will not be called upon to immediately return home even after a peace agreement with Hezbollah

Some local government leaders in northern Israel have expressed their dissatisfaction with the agreement with Hezbollah. The head of the Metula Regional Council called the agreement “the capitulation of the most right-wing government in the country's history to a terrorist organization.” He expressed surprise: “Why doesn’t the Israeli government know how to end the conflict correctly? The IDF is doing its job in Lebanon, why this stupid agreement?”
