Russia again decided to burst into indignation: Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov loudly declared that the annexation of the Golan Heights was “categorically unacceptable.” The problem is that no one in the world takes this seriously anymore.
Against the backdrop of how Israel is confidently implementing the strategic plan for the development of the Golan, Moscow resembles that same boring aunt at a family celebration: she seems to be saying something loud, but everyone has long learned to ignore her.
What happened?
Israeli policy in the Golan is about concrete actions. The Israeli government recently approved an ambitious plan:

Moscow is trying to reach an agreement with the new Syrian government on maintaining at least some bases in Syria.
Moreover, Moscow is now more preoccupied with the war in Ukraine than with the showdown in Syria.
2. Israel acts confidently
In its policy, Israel is not guided by the opinion of Moscow, but cooperates with the United States. Israeli leaders are clear: The Golan Heights are part of the Jewish state, and no one will change that.
3. “Fe” from the last century
All these calls for Russia to “implement the 1974 agreements” sound like something from the VHS era. Nobody is interested in this anymore.
Israel strengthens the Golan Heights: steps forward
