Iran has completed its investigation into the May 19 helicopter crash with the president on board. The report by the Iranian General Staff ruled out the possibility of a helicopter with electronic equipment being shot down or Israel's involvement, citing difficult spring weather conditions.
According to the investigation, the helicopter's collision with the mountain was caused by sudden fog during the climb. The technical condition of the helicopter was considered normal, the pilots were on route, and no substances or poisons were found in the bodies of the victims. Iranian authorities concluded that the crash was caused only by weather conditions.
Iran had previously declared its readiness for “Israeli aggression” while monitoring the activities of Israeli troops. However, the investigation concluded that the helicopter crash was caused only by weather factors, not external interference or technical malfunctions.
