On Saturday, after a three-day pause, the Israeli IDF resumed attacks on the Shiite neighborhood of Dahiya in Beirut. Residents of two areas received evacuation orders, and then strikes were carried out within a radius of 500 meters from the targets. Videos of black smoke appeared on social networks after an explosion in a densely populated area.
Following the first strike, an Israeli army officer issued a second warning to residents of another area of the Shiite quarter. However, the strikes were soon suspended at the request of the United States after a strike without warning struck a residential building in central Beirut, killing dozens of people.
Today, Hezbollah has increased its missile and drone attacks on Israel, and the situation is escalating after a temporary lull.
