After more than a year of fighting and lawsuits, the relatives of the IDF observers killed at the Nahal Oz base will be given recordings of conversations and videos depicting the last days of their daughters. The girls' parents demanded the opportunity to familiarize themselves with these materials and expressed dissatisfaction with the army's refusal.

In September, the relatives filed a lawsuit against the Defense Army, demanding minimal leniency and the provision of records. At the end of the month, the IDF notified that the recordings would be transferred, but requested a delay of a month due to “high workload.”

At the end of October, the IDF again requested a delay in releasing the recordings to the parents of the deceased observers at the military base. This was explained by “high workload” due to ongoing military operations.
