On October 22, 2024, the Israeli Air Force attacked 10 Hezbollah command and control centers in southern Lebanon. Among the targets were the headquarters of the Raduan forces, located in the middle of civilian areas. These centers directed terrorist activities against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.
The groups used civilian infrastructure throughout Lebanon to plan and carry out terrorist activities, putting civilians at risk. Before the strikes, measures were taken to reduce the risk to citizens, including warnings through various platforms, the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. Lebanese media have also reported Israeli attacks in other areas.
It is important to note that Israeli attacks are aimed at eliminating the threat posed to the region by terrorist groups. The actions of the Israeli Air Force were carried out taking into account minimizing the threat to the civilian population and using modern technologies and methods of warfare.
