HAMAS must respond to the proposed peace agreement for the Gaza Strip by midnight on Sunday, October 5, 2025. This information came from Donald Trump on his social network Truth Social.
Details of the Proposal
At the moment, U.S. President Donald Trump is determined to stop the conflict in the Middle East. He has set a strict deadline for HAMAS — by Sunday evening, when the organization must decide whether to accept the peace plan proposed by Trump for the Gaza Strip.
- Deadline — 6:00 PM Washington time (by 1:00 AM Monday Israel time);
- Trump described the situation as the “last chance,” adding that if HAMAS refuses, it will face “real hell.”
According to Trump, if HAMAS refuses, the Islamist group will face a serious threat — pursuit and destruction.
The U.S. President noted:
All countries agreed! HAMAS faces a fate that no one has ever seen. Peace in the Middle East will be achieved “one way or another,” Trump asserted in his message.
A few days ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza. This peace plan, consisting of 20 points, includes three main levels:
- Creating a zone in Gaza free from terrorism and radicalism so that it poses no threat to neighboring states;
- Rebuilding Gaza for its residents who have realized all the consequences of the conflict;
- Immediate cessation of the war with the agreement of both sides to the proposed conditions.
Recently, the Trump administration also announced the allocation of $230 million to support Lebanon’s security forces in efforts to disarm “Hezbollah.”
