Iran is trying to sow discord in the United States and undermine Donald Trump's plans to return to the White House, U.S. intelligence officials say.

At a briefing for reporters organized by multiple intelligence agencies, officials hinted at Tehran’s pushback against Trump without making explicit statements. One official said Iran was seeking to reverse its 2020 stance to avoid worsening relations with the U.S.

Iran is using propaganda headquarters to spread disinformation, actively escalating tensions with Israel over the Gaza conflict, a news source claims.

Some of Iran's powerful agents operate under the auspices of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, an organization with intelligence and cyber personnel that has direct ties to the country's supreme leader, the official added.
