For Ukrainians, this day was and remains a day of mourning for the enormous victims of the war, echoed in the slogan “Never again.” At the same time, Ukrainians watched with surprise the growth of the cult of “victory” in the neighboring country, and how May 9 in Russia turned into a holiday under the slogan “We can repeat it.”
