Hezbollah launched a drone attack on northern Israel on Monday morning, with air defense sirens sounding in several towns in the Western Galilee. Security forces said the drones had violated airspace over the region.
The Hezbollah attack resulted in an explosion in a multi-story building in Nahariya, where a drone hit the 14th floor. The building sustained damage, but fortunately the building was not yet occupied, so no one was hurt. The army press service also confirmed that there were no casualties.
Video taken in Nahariya showed residents warning of an approaching drone moments before it exploded. The military says two drones entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, one of which hit Nahariya without causing any damage.
