There is a weekly demonstration in Tel Aviv demanding the immediate release of kidnapped Israelis. Family members of the abducted persons take part in it.
Before the start of the demonstration, a statement was read out accusing the government and the prime minister of treason and trying to make people forget about the hostages. Demonstrators blocked traffic on the southbound Ayalon Highway around 10:30 p.m.
Demonstrations were also held in various cities to mark the anniversary of the October 7 massacre. In Beersheba and at the entrance to Caesarea they also expressed their dissatisfaction and demands for the release of the abducted. Discontent was formed due to dissatisfaction with the actions of the government and insufficient attention to this problem on the part of the authorities and society. The demonstrators brought the issue to the attention of the public.
