Iran asks Russia for gas supplies. Putin is “for”

Iran has long expressed a desire to buy gas from Russia, Russian dictator-president Putin announced at a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, TASS reports.

“This is a strategically important location for us, as the field is nearby. I am sure that this is a real project, given the huge demand for gas in neighboring countries, including Iran.
